Clematis 'Bride's Bouquet' is a variety introduced as a novelty in 2026 by the Polish nursery Źródło Dobrych Pnączy and is therefore still very new to the trade. The nursery describes it as a compact-growing variety whose pure white flowers can appear in double, semi-double and single form on the same plant – an unusual diversity of flower forms for a clematis. The flowers measure 10-12 cm across.
'Bride's Bouquet' flowers from May to July and puts on a further flush in October. With a compact height of 100 to 150 cm, it belongs to the smaller clematis hybrids of the Patens group (internationally also classed as the Early Large-Flowered Group) and is therefore particularly well suited to containers on patios and balconies, low trellises and smaller gardens.
The variety is very winter-hardy (zone 4, down to about -34 °C) and reliably copes with harsh winters. For strong growth and abundant flowering, cut 'Bride's Bouquet' back to about 100 cm in February. As this is a brand-new, plant-breeders'-rights-protected (PBR) introduction, there is as yet little practical experience of how it establishes in the garden.
