Moody roses
A steadily growing fan community has formed around the so-called 'moody roses' in recent years - which is why we have gathered these particularly unusual roses in a category of their own. Anyone looking for roses by colour, and especially for the unusual shades, will find what they are looking for here.
Whether a rose counts as 'moody' or not is not precisely defined; the term mainly covers roses in all kinds of blue, lilac and mauve tones, but reddish-brown, pink with brown, and fragile-looking, radiant white can certainly fall under it too.
By the way: truly 'blue roses' do not exist. The many pictures of blue roses are not genuine.
If a rose is still missing from this variety list, we would be glad to receive a hint by e-mail.
