This older floribunda rose blooms repeatedly throughout the year with double blooms in variable brown, pink and lavender tones. Unfortunately, it has only a faintly pronounced fragrance. Lavender Pinocchio forms a compact-bushy shrub that blooms readily in small clusters.
In harsher sites, winter protection is advisable; foliage health needs attention at some sites.

Extravagant, distinctive colour - WITH fragranceI had been interested in Lavender Pinocchio for a while, but had no space. Then in autumn 2022 I noticed that Schmid is taking her out of the range and spontaneously bought 2 bare-root ones and put them in containers because I want to "preserve" this rose, since afterwards she is hardly available in Germany any more, which I can't understand. Today the first flower shows, in a bluish-brownish colour and - contrary to the description - she has a wonderful sweetish fragrance! You can't say much about the plant itself yet - she is still very young and delicate, so for now only 4 stars. But she has already set many flowers and, unlike many of my other roses, no powdery mildew. (Unfortunately I couldn't look after my ladies as much in spring because of an operation. I'm getting the bill for it now...)Automatically translated · Show original
An eye-catcherI have had Lavender Pinocchio only for a short time. Now it is blooming for the first time and I am glad to have it. Pictures to followAutomatically translated · Show original
