I always wanted this rose and now I'm busy with nothing but it. It is so susceptible to rose diseases that you should really check it every day to see what it has now yet again. Especially since the neighbouring roses are then affected too. Its flowers and its foliage are truly beautiful, but its susceptibility to disease really spoils the enjoyment.

A beautiful shrub rose, very robust, I even had it in a container for 3 years. The fragrance is truly fantastic.

I planted this rose last autumn and this year it has already reached a stately size. It didn't flower sooo much, but after all it's also the first year in its spot. On the other hand, the flowers are beautiful and fragrant. I'm glad to own this rose.

This rose has exceptionally plump, deep dark red, decorative flowers. Plump, deep dark red buds open in June into cup-shaped, loosely double flowers, with the petals edged in white. The rose is repeat-flowering, smells sweet and grows into a stately shrub. As with all historic roses, I spray this one preventively right after bud break.

A beautiful rose
The bare-root plants have established well, the rose is also very robust in a container, and has bloomed again and again all summer. A dreamy fragrance! No diseases so far.
Also something very special in a vase.

A truly special rose!
What a fragrance! And the blooms are truly enchanting. Apart from a slight susceptibility to powdery mildew, which isn't bad, the rose is perfectly healthy and flowers tirelessly. I've ordered 5 more!

A beautiful rose bloom and outstanding fragrance.
Also easy to keep in a container, only little black spot. The rose likes it very sunny. By now I have three of this variety, because they're so lovely in the vase too!
