Clematis viticella (Italian clematis)

Clematis ‘Polka’ (Viticella group) is a new, healthy and easy-care Polish variety by Szczepan Marczyński (on the market since 2025) with medium-sized, pink single flowers (Ø 8–10 cm) and a light, almost white central stripe. The yellow anthers add subtle accents.

The plant grows 2–3 m tall, climbs with its leaf stalks and belongs to pruning group 3 (hard pruning). It flowers abundantly from May to August and is ideal for fences, climbing supports, hedges or as ground cover. Hardy in zones 4–9 and trouble-free in sunny to lightly partially shaded sites.
