The rose variety Naheglut / That's Jazz from Poulsen is a tautly upright-growing climbing rose with large, velvety dark red blooms, even in the sun, without a hint of a pink cast. These are well rain-resistant, hold their colour well even in the sun, and have a slight, spicy fragrance. The plant bears healthy, dark green foliage and grows tautly upright to about 4 m high.
Naheglut is considered one of the best and darkest red climbing roses; however, foliage health needs a bit of attention, especially in the first years until the rose is established.

A wonderfully velvety dark red rose. With a slight fragrance and blooming tirelessly.Naheglut was one of my first roses. In the meantime there are many more. But her dark, mysterious red fascinates me again and again. I have 2 of them, one planted out in the garden, the 2nd in a pot by the house. We have dense soil, the planted-out one is still struggling a bit. I also didn't make it easy for her until she now has her place. In the pot she does wonderfully and delights us all summer. She has a somewhat breezy sunny spot that seems to please her. I fertilise and spray all my roses, if at all, only with a few drops of neem oil. In the watering can as a tonic or as a spray with diluted onion/garlic liquid manure.Automatically translated · Show original
