In 2009 als Containerware gepflanzt, kam Summersong gut durch den Winter und fing schon relativ früh an zu blühen. Die Farbe ist blasser, als auf den Fotos (eher wie die dunklere Seite bei Pat Austin), die Blüten insgesamt aber sehr haltbar und wunderbar duftend. Gesund und wüchsig - was will man mehr....

Ich habe die Summer Song im Herbst 2012 gepflanzt. Sie ist bald gut ausgetrieben. Die Ästchen waren sehr dünn, sodaß sie die schweren Blüten kaum halten konnten. Ich habe die 8 Blüten deshalb mit einem Ring gestützt. Die Blüten hingen dann über dem Ring nach unten. Die Farbe ist wie auf den Fotos sehr orangerot. Ungewöhnliche Farbe. Die vielen Blütenblättchen in der Rose sind sehr schön. Jetzt blüht noch eine Rose. Aber jetzt kommts: Der Duft ist überwältigend. Jedesmal bei Vorübergehen musste ich daran schnuppern. Ah, wundervoll. Einzelne Blüten in einer kleinen Vase verströmen ihren Duft ins ganze Zimmer. Wer das mag. Ich mag das. Alles klar? Herzlichst Traudel
