The rose variety 'Maria Lisa' is a popular, almost thornless rambler rose. It flowers once, very abundantly and for a long time, in dense clusters of small, single blooms in a light red with a white eye.
It is a vigorous and fast-growing, rewarding and low-maintenance hybrid of Wichuraiana and Multiflora with arching, pendulous shoots that also tolerates partial shade.
Because of its sparse thorniness, Maria Lisa is very well suited for walkways. But trees, fences and pergolas are also good locations. During its 4-6 week, very lush flowering period, it is a true paradise for bees. In autumn, the numerous rose hips are a delight and provide food for birds.

Was mache ich falsch???
Highly recommendedThe Maria Lisa is simply breathtaking.! Thornless and very rewarding for almost no care. With us the first one climbs up the garden shed, the second up an old plum tree. Vigorous growth, very good health, (had powdery mildew once, when too dense) and rose hips after the annual splendour of blooms... Highly recommended!Automatically translated · Show original
Great bloom, despite diseased foliageThe rose is in its second year and very vigorous, flower umbels very beautiful, but blooms only once.
But the leaves are no feast for the eyes. Powdery mildew, rose rust, everything's there. Not a single healthy leaf.
It stands in the open and in the sun.
We will keep an eye on it, perhaps spray against these diseases next year, everyone has to part with something....Such a pityAutomatically translated · Show original

A wonderful and uncomplicated rose!About a year ago I ordered the Maria Lisa - bare-root.
Now she delights me with her bloom and is allowed to keep climbing up into the sky. I am very satisfied with this robust rose and thank you for it.Automatically translated · Show original
