Ancient variety of unknown origin, with flexible shoots up to 200cm long that form an arching shrub.

Medium-sized, light pink, double blooms in clusters with a slightly tousled centre. Intense, sweet fragrance. Trigintipetala is still used for the production of rose oil in the region around Kazanlik/Kazanlak. Often also known as the 'Bulgarian Oil Rose'.

Several clones are commercially available, which presumably arose through targeted sowing of seedlings in the various growing regions.

Very hardy.
