The medium-sized, pink blooms are quartered, green at the centre, with excellent fragrance.
Because of its strong fragrance, Ispahan is also popular for the production of perfumes (e.g. by Yves Rocher).

One of my favourite roses. Smells heavenly, very hardy and grows incredibly fast. I always have to cut her back so she does not get too massive.
Highly recommended.Automatically translated · Show original
The first rose I planted in my garden. Blooms dreamily, is very hardy, absolutely free of disease, grows fast. Looks great as a hedge.
A must for beginners! Easy to care for.Automatically translated · Show original
Wunderbare Rose.
Noble, slightly tousled bloom, healthy without chemicals, strong fragrance!Ispahan in its 5th year in place: robust, vigorous, the only one without diseases, a few caterpillars, nothing else. It tolerates heat and drought well in an old vineyard and was the first to bloom in April, it produces the most blooms and flowers over several weeks. A single rose of Ispahan that I brought along effortlessly infected my friend with the fragrance fever. Without is simply too little, she says. After flowering I lightly trim it into a bushy shape and shorten individual long shoots. I recommend this rose without reservation, a dose of compost and horn shavings at the start of the season, water well once a week in the first year, later it manages on its own, even on the south slope.Automatically translated · Show original

Great rose - we love itWe planted Ispahan 26 years ago and since it took hold we have neither fertilised nor watered it. It stands in rather poor soil and is hardly ever pruned. We stretched wire as a climbing aid. By now it has reached the first floor under the gable (approx. 3.5m).It flowers magnificently and profusely and delights us year after year for weeks with its fragrance. Highly recommended!Automatically translated · Show original
One of the most beautiful rosesI bought it in a pot 3 years ago. It stands in a spot with a high water table, which is probably why it has also grown so large. It is absolutely healthy, even though the neighbouring roses are struggling with black spot.
Because I moved house, I ordered another one.Automatically translated · Show original
