I am absolutely thrilled with Albertine. She blooms tirelessly and has been with me for eleven years now. She came through a move and a radical pruning superbly. The flowering season begins at the start of June and is a dream. The buds are dark pink, turning into a delicate apricot and then to white-pink. Picturesque ;-). Occasionally gets black spot, but no problem at all.Automatically translated · Show original
The sweet, delicious fragrance of Albertine fills the whole garden. If only many a modern climbing rose smelled half as good! It is a vigorous rose that needs quite some room to unfold, but it is definitely worth giving such old varieties a place in the garden. I always spray preventively against powdery mildew.Automatically translated · Show original
Meine Lieblingsrose!
