Apart from the similar name and the same breeder Meilland-Richardier the patio rose Mini Eden Rose has little in common with the world rose of the same name, Pierre de Ronsard / Eden Rose.
It forms a shrub or a smaller climbing rose with a growth height of up to approx. 250 cm, with numerous small, densely double, globular blooms in large, slightly drooping clusters. The charming, small blooms are quite rain-resistant and also last several days in a vase. In bud and as they open, they often show an intensely pink edge. The plant itself is very frost-hardy and disease-resistant. After the very lush main flush in June, it usually blooms a second time.
In use, Mini Eden is versatile, often seen as a small shrub rose in a container, on a small trellis or also as a smaller climbing rose / Patio-Climber on rose obelisks. Altogether a rewarding variety, also for smaller gardens. Mini Eden feels especially at home in warmer locations. It is a bit of a shame that it has only a very faint, barely perceptible fragrance.

It blooms and blooms ...Hello everyone,
I have had the rose Mini Eden in my garden for several years.
It blooms persistently, lushly and reliably every year.
I can fully agree with the description above.
Except for the growth habit, which at mine is a bush 1.50 m tall and wide.
In our garden it stands in full sun.
That it hardly smells is also true, but you can't have everything.Automatically translated · Show original
