The rose variety Guirlande d'Amour is a pure white, repeat-flowering ADR rambler rose from the Belgian rose breeder Lens. It bears large clusters of loosely double, strongly fragrant blooms 3-4 cm in size. Not long after the lush main flush, Guirlande d'Amour sets new buds again. It then delights well into late autumn with a surprising abundance of flowers.
Guirlande d'Amour grows very reliably, without problems, and remains a manageable rambler rose with healthy foliage. It is suitable for fences, obelisks, pergolas and smaller structures up to about 350 cm, or freestanding with support.
Because of its descent from both Seagull and Moonlight, Guirlande d'Amour is classified with both the Multiflora ramblers and the Moschata hybrids that the Belgian breeder Lens so likes to work with.
This rose is absolutely healthy, beginner-friendly and reliably frost-hardy, which is why it received the coveted ADR award in 2012. Given a pot size suited to its growth, Guirlande d'Amour can even be planted in a container on the balcony. Alongside Ghislaine de Féligonde, it is probably one of the most popular and rewarding repeat-flowering ramblers.
Care tip: to encourage rapid new growth, you should deadhead spent flowers.

A romantic roseHello
The Guirlande d`amour grows on our pergola and is gorgeous. It flowers once, but over weeks.
An uncomplicated rose, free of diseases.
Rosy regards
