The rose variety Susan Williams-Ellis bears clusters of pure white, dahlia-like double blooms with a good fragrance. The heavily thorned, compact, medium-sized shrub has dark wood covered with numerous thorns.
As a pure white sport of The Mayflower, Susan Williams-Ellis too is exceptionally healthy and hardy. It flowers in several flushes repeatedly until autumn. It feels at home in sunny and partly shaded positions and also grows happily in a container. Planted freely, it is suitable for a rose bed, a mixed border or a rose hedge.
