Radiant vermilion, fragrant and flowering in flushes. Vigorous-growing. A good bedding rose. Mildew can become problematic in some locations.
This rose was enormously popular in the 60s and 70s, but is still rewarding today.

Jahrzehntelang wuchs diese Rose in unserem Garten: ihr Duft ist überwältigend und sie eignet sich hervorragend als Schnittrose. Knospig geschnitten geht sie in der Vase problemlos ganz auf und erfüllt den Raum mit ihrem Duft.
Allerdings erinnere ich mich auch an den dauernden "Kampf" gegen Mehltau - aber evt. ist sie inzwischen resistenter dagegen?
