Hello,
I have had Variegata di Bologna in my garden for 8 years, and every June I look forward especially to her first blooms, because they are unique in their colouring and have a wonderful fragrance! The whole shrub - by now spreading evenly all round - is densely covered in flowers. She is also very robust, resistant to disease, has interesting foliage, and the longest shoots are now a good two metres high. She grows on an obelisk climbing support and is a real eye-catcher! I can recommend this rose to anyone looking for something special and robust!
Kind regards

The flowers of these Bourbon roses look quite amusingly speckled and are about 8 centimetres across; she is not very strongly fragrant and hardly repeats, but is in any case a special eye-catcher in the garden in June!Automatically translated · Show original
A wonderful roseWe bought the Variegata di Bologna bare-root 8 weeks ago. I had to have her! She arrived in excellent condition, the roots were moist. We soaked her thoroughly and cut her back a little. The rose was planted in the ground at the end of the lawn, the planting hole filled with compost. At first we thought she was a late starter, as nothing really seemed to happen. But in the last two weeks she has grown enormously, she is already about 35 cm tall and today I even discovered two buds! The rose grows in partial shade with us and gets about 4 hours of sun a day. Unfortunately she had a few rolled-up leaves, which I removed. I am already very excited about her flowers and will report again soon on flowers and fragrance.Automatically translated · Show original
