This Alba-Damascena hybrid, with its spreading, arching yet harmonious growth habit, is regarded as one of the best Old Roses.
It bears bluish-green foliage on finely thorned shoots.
Its long-lasting, shape-retaining blooms in pale pink with an intensely coloured centre have a strong, typical R. damascena fragrance. They appear over a period of 4 - 6 weeks, somewhat later than most other once-flowering roses.
The AGM-award-winning Alba rose Königin von Dänemark is very low-maintenance and hardy. It is suitable as a specimen shrub and hedge rose and also tolerates partial shade at its location.

Ich habe diese Rose im Herbst 2009 im Halbschatten an geschützter Lage (Hanglage),in guter Erde gepflanzt. Das ganze 2010 hat sie keinen wank gemacht. Evtl. kann hier jemand weiterhelfen.
