Charles de Mills stands as a specimen plant by the entrance. The most beautiful rose in my garden. I can even forgive her for flowering only once.
Should be in every garden.
Beware, it gets huge. Needs space.Automatically translated · Show original
The colour of this Gallica rose is simply gorgeous!
Somehow it looks exotic among the other roses. The flower colour changes, and the fragrance can't be compared to any other either - as if you were smelling a glass of wine, and the wine is sweet and mellow.
The shrub grows very tall and just as wide, so it needs space.
I planted silver-coloured perennials in front of it. Flowers once, but quite long, and is in any case an exceptional eye-catcher in the garden!Automatically translated · Show original
Noble colour, robust shrub.Charles de Mills in its 2nd year: the blooms are fortunately darker than expected, like old velvet, large and full, with a good fragrance. Healthy as Gallicas typically are, with beautiful autumn colouring. Even now the shrub gives an impression of being robust and easy to care for. It is fertilised once a year with organic rose fertiliser and compost. When leafhoppers suck at the leaves, Sulfur C 200 helps the roses in my natural garden.Automatically translated · Show original
