This vigorous-growing English climbing rose bears large, cup-shaped blooms throughout the entire rose season, in delicate apricot tones that often shift towards yellow. The blooms are densely double and become lighter towards the edge. In doing so they exude a wonderful fragrance with nuances of myrrh and honey.
With its rather soft shoots, Bathsheba can climb to a height of up to 3 m. This creates a very beautiful picture not only in the garden on an arch or obelisk but also at an entrance door. A suitable climbing support to hold up the slightly drooping blooms should be provided.
The matte green foliage of this reliably hardy plant is healthy. If pruned harder in spring it can also be trained as a shrub rose. This rose variety is named after Bathsheba, wife of King David and mother of Solomon in the Old Testament. The name means 'daughter of abundance' in Hebrew, which describes its wealth of blooms well.

Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!Wonderful climbing rose, super healthy and yes, she grows very vigorously. In my garden she cracked the 2.50 m after 3 years. Few thorns and a dream colour. The huge double flower is peach-coloured inside, but has a white edge on the outside that bends slightly downwards and therefore looks slightly two-toned up close. From a distance, however, the effect is rather whitish/very light, since the flowers lighten a lot as they go over. The best yellow I have ever had from Austin!!!!Automatically translated · Show original
