Clematis 'Snow Storm' is a Polish new introduction bred by Szczepan Marczyński, available since 2021. Its 10–12 cm pure white flowers open flat with slightly wavy sepals and carry pale yellow stamens on white filaments – a clear, radiant contrast.
From June to July, 'Snow Storm' blooms in great abundance; at 250–300 cm it is well suited to trellises, obelisks and other climbing supports, as well as generous containers on balconies and terraces. It thrives best in a bright, not overly hot spot with fertile, moderately moist, well-drained soil.
'Snow Storm' is reliably winter-hardy (zone 4, down to about -34 °C) and easy to care for. Cut the plant back hard to about 50 cm in March – this encourages vigorous new growth and an especially rich flowering the following season.
