Clematis 'Once More' is a new introduction (launched 2024) from Polish breeder Szczepan Marczyński. Its upright, open, velvety flowers appear in a rich, dark violet with a bright yellow centre and reach 10-12 cm across – a bold, deep shade that stands out clearly among lighter Integrifolia varieties.
From June to August, 'Once More' flowers freely on non-climbing, bushy stems. At 100-150 cm tall, it is ideal as a ground cover, for the terrace, or, with a low support, as a border perennial – its compact, moderate height makes it versatile and well suited to smaller gardens too.
'Once More' is very reliably hardy (zone 4, down to about -34 °C) and is considered easy-care and disease-resistant. Cut the stems back to about 10 cm in March, so the plant regrows vigorously each spring and flowers dependably in deep violet.
