Clematis 'GLORIOUS® Cloud' belongs to the Viticella group (Italian clematis) and comes from the Dutch breeder Wim Snoeijer. Its purple-violet flowers measure 6 to 8 cm across and appear from July to September.
It grows to about 3 m and is suited to a pergola, fence, trellis or climbing frame. Varieties of the Viticella group are considered robust and flower late in the year. It likes a sunny to partly shaded position, with the root zone kept shaded.
Pruning group 3 (hard pruning): cut back to about 25 cm in March. Hardy to about -23 °C (hardiness zone 6).
