Mme Legras lives in my half-shaded garden, which she doesn't mind in the slightest. She has developed into a pretty bush about a metre tall, which blooms profusely once a year on sparsely thorned, overhanging branches. Mme Legras produces one of the most perfect flowers I know - flat, rosette-like and wonderfully white against the blue-green foliage. The buds are cream-white and nicely elongated. She has an absolutely stunning, unique fragrance that seems more pronounced than that of Damask roses. The flowers last a few days - without rain - and since the rose buds abundantly, there is always a white shining in the foliage. I can only recommend her; I had her in two different locations that were problematic because of the light conditions - now in a back courtyard - but she doesn't seem to mind anything, is disease-resistant and simply a true beauty.Automatically translated · Show original
