The rose variety Soul is a compact, bushy-growing shrub rose with medium-sized, nostalgically double blooms in an intense, dark purple. These exude an intense fragrance of old roses that suits the overall impression very well.
With a growth height of up to 150 cm, Soul can also be used as a smaller climbing rose. With its healthy foliage, it is also well suited for hedges, the background of a border or small groups with a planting distance of about 50 cm in the rose garden.
As a healthy, low-maintenance rose, Soul was awarded ADR-Rose status in 2015 and was voted 'Rose of the Year' by the members of the GdR (Gesellschaft deutscher Rosenfreunde) in 2018.
