ROSA MULTIFLORA is also called the cluster rose.
It has been growing at my place for 3 years. I received it bare-root.
The first flowers only appeared the following year on the old
wood. So far it has developed into an arching bush
(approx. 1.20 wide and high). Covered with many
hundreds of flowers on long panicles, wonderfully fragrant,
it attracted many insects. It needs a lot of space.
Since it is ONCE-FLOWERING, I let the flowers ripen into rose hips (bird food). They are little clusters of rose hips that look pretty.
Enchanting rose bush!
