- Large, well-formed, primrose-yellow double flowers with delicate pink shading. Vigorous. Sweetly fragrant.

The hybrid tea rose Gloria Dei (syn. Peace) is so well-known that it hardly needs any description. The very large blooms with a sweet fragrance sit on vigorous stems. They appear throughout the whole summer in primrose yellow with a delicate pink shading at the edges and last long in the vase. This upright-growing hybrid tea rose is healthy, vigorous-growing and bears rich green, glossy foliage.
Another common name for this very famous rose is 'Peace'. Gloria Dei is regarded as the first modern hybrid tea rose, is probably the most often sold rose, and won the title of World Rose from the AARS in 1976.
Also very beautiful are the two sports 'Flaming Peace (Kronenbourg)' and 'Chicago Peace'.
