i've had the rose for three years and have noticed that it tends to develop only thin shoots. it does flower plentifully, but because of its thin shoots the overall impression is not very nice.
ich mag die francine austin, weil sie so hübsch in büscheln blüht! im gegensatz zu meinen anderen englischen rosen hat sie relativ kleine blüten, davon dann aber mehr.

Hatte Francine Austin vor Jahren im Vordergrund einer großen sommerblühenden Strauchrose gepflanzt- die Kombination war gut weil sie erst nach dieser- dann aber vor dem dunklen Laub der anderen geblüht hat. Besonders abends leuchteten die kleinen Blütensterne- die sie ja in Büscheln trägt. Das erste Jahr hat sie gemickert, danach schoß sie los und bildete einen kleinen Strauch. Vom Laub erinnerte sie mich an die Rosen Vater- und Muttertag- also dunkelgrün und gesund ( im Gegensatz zu diesen fand ich die Farbe von Francine besser- Weiß im Gegensatz zu Rot und Orange!)Sie ist nicht mit mir umgezogen, sondern blieb in Gesellschaft ihrer Strauchrose.
