This wonderful, medium-sized shrub rose bears large, double blooms in various apricot-orange tones with a slight tea-rose fragrance. The colour of the blooms becomes somewhat lighter towards the outer edge, and they last several days in a vase. They are rain-resistant and fade cleanly.
The rose variety 'Dame Judi Dench' is named after the popular English actress. She is best known as 'M' from the James Bond films. The rose is particularly well suited for mixed borders and also tolerates partially shaded sites. The vigorous-growing shrub forms long, gracefully arching shoots with numerous blooms.
