The three-pointed Boston ivy ‘Veitchii’ is a vigorous, healthy climber with dark green leaves that turn a vivid scarlet red in autumn, especially in sunny locations. It is deciduous, robust and undemanding.
Growth habit: Vigorous climber with adhesive pads, reaching heights of 10–20 m, annual growth approx. 1–2 m.
Location & care: Grows in sun to partial shade, undemanding as to soil. Hardy in zones 6a–8, may die back slightly in severe winters.
Use: Ideal for greening walls, facades, arbours, pergolas and trellises. Also very attractive as a colourful privacy screen thanks to its autumn colour.
