This repeat-flowering, smaller patio climber / mini rambler bears small, intensely purple-violet blooms in clusters that exude an intense fragrance. With a growth height of not even 3 m, it is suitable for covering smaller obelisks and trellises, balcony railings, and, given a suitable pot size, also a container.
The rose variety was named after the Europa-Rosengarten in Zweibrücken and was awarded a gold medal in Baden-Baden in 2010.

Recommendable, nicely fragrant rose in a special colourLike several others, I planted this rose bare-root this spring. Here in the north the weather has so far been mostly cool, very windy and, in recent weeks, often wet.
Rosengarten Zweibrücken has taken well and flowered very abundantly. Its growth habit is still rather restrained, though.
The colour is beautiful, it smells very good and so far it shows no signs of fungal diseases. Unfortunately that is not the case with all my roses.
Since I had already seen this rose in another garden, where it has firmly established itself, I can absolutely recommend it.Automatically translated · Show original
