A very beautiful, once-flowering centifolia that has enjoyed great popularity since the 19th century.
Its origin is a matter of speculation; tea hybrids and R. Gallica may be among its parents. It bears light pink blooms with a darker center and an excellent fragrance.
This spreading, broad-growing old shrub rose really needs room in the garden. If pruned little to not at all, it can also be trained as a smaller climbing rose. It owes its name to the painter Henri Fantin-Latour.
Thanks to its easy-care nature, good resistance and lush main flush, this altogether very rewarding rose variety was awarded the AGM (Award of Garden Merit).

A wonderful rose with a wonderful fragrance. She is very vigorous and healthy, but needs a bit of space. This year she had over 300 flowers with us. The dark, dense foliage makes her attractive even after flowering.

Although this rose flowers only once, she has an enchanting charm. She grows upright and has beautiful flowers. The flowers, about 9 centimetres across, open in June and bloom in a pale pink tone. The fragrance is intense and sweet.Automatically translated · Show original
Surprisingly drought-tolerant!She needed a little time to establish. But Fantin Latour in her 4th year survived the extremely hot summer as one of the best, even with height gain, with a single emergency watering. And the leaves stayed healthy in the rainy autumn too.Automatically translated · Show original
