This shrub rose bears charming, small pompon-shaped blooms in clusters. It is highly reminiscent of the 'Old Roses', whose fragrance, with nuances of apple, cinnamon and violet, it also exudes.
The repeat-flowering, vigorous-growing shrub also tolerates a little shade. It is suitable for borders, a hedge or as a specimen plant; the blooms also keep well in a vase. This rather rarely available rose would have deserved more attention.

Very niceI am very glad to have found this David Austin gem here; if you want a somewhat different Austin variety... here it is.
The flowers are small but very chic because of their somewhat two-coloured look; in this year's summer heat they unfortunately faded quickly, but the fragrance is a dream, better than some of his newer creationsAutomatically translated · Show original
