Shrub rose with huge clusters of rich golden-yellow, fragrant flowers. The tightly upright, very slender-growing shrub rose flowers almost without a pause. It bears dense, brightly glossy foliage with low disease susceptibility and is reliably hardy.
The still very rewarding Mountbatten received the AGM (Award of Garden Merit) from the RHS in 1993 and was the RHS's 'Rose of the Year' in Great Britain in 1982. Princess Diana chose this variety, very well suited as a cut rose, as part of her wedding bouquet.

I've just bought the rose "Mountbatten". It has very beautiful flowers, is supposed to be relatively insensitive and to smell lovely. I'll leave it in the pot, since it's going to stand on my balcony.Automatically translated · Show original
