The shrub rose Domaine de Chantilly® comes from the French breeder Georges Delbard and belongs to the modern varieties with outstanding garden value. Its large, densely double blooms display an elegant interplay of colours in soft pink, cream and delicate apricot. They exude an intense, fruity-citrus fragrance with notes of yellow fruit – a combination that has earned it international fragrance awards.
The growth habit is upright and bushy, reaching a height of about 80–120 cm and a width of up to 80 cm. Domaine de Chantilly® blooms throughout the summer in several flushes into the autumn. The variety is considered low-maintenance, shows good foliage health and is hardy down to about –20 °C.
Thanks to its sturdy stems and long-lasting blooms, this Delbard rose is also well suited as a cut flower. In the garden it shows to lovely effect both as a single specimen and in group plantings, borders or containers on the terrace and balcony.

It should be much better known!I received it bare-root in spring and it took well right away. A little later it produced its first flower, which on mine isn't as bright and spectacular as in most pictures. It goes with many rose colours - here with a "Comte deChambord" in the background (2nd photo) - and is robust and healthy. Although the flower is quite large, it doesn't droop. The growth habit is upright with rather large glossy foliage. At the moment it is 80 cm tall. It has a lovely fragrance and I would buy it again at any time.Automatically translated · Show original
Most beautiful rose! For lack of space, with over 250 roses in my garden, this beauty had to move bare-root into a large container. Here she has developed incredibly well already in the first year. She produces the most beautiful blooms in absolutely perfect form and stays completely healthy all summer long. On top of that the fragrance, which for me is absolutely the best of all, even better than the Austins! A must-have!Automatically translated · Show original
