Ventilo® is an exceptionally beautiful rose with large, very double flowers in the style of old roses. Its many wavy, almost „crumpled“ petals give it the appearance of a classic rose bloom – lush, romantic and full of character. The colour shifts between violet-pink and bluish tones, with occasional mauve nuances on the outer petals.
The growth is compact and even, with matt, bluish-tinted foliage – ideal for large pots, patios or as an eye-catcher in the bed. Particularly impressive: the intense fragrance, reminiscent of damask roses, which surprises with fruity notes of citrus, apricot, peach and pear. The flowers are also suitable for cutting and last several days in the vase.
Ventilo® thrives especially well in partially shaded locations with a regular water supply – there it unfolds its colour and fragrance in full splendour, often well into the autumn.
