Robust plant with blooms whose colour spectrum ranges from orange through yellow to pink. Pleasant fragrance!
Considerably more intense in colour than Westerland.
Vigorous, spreading growth habit, also climbs.

I also planted this plant last year. As a newcomer, in complete ignorance, only because of the beautiful flowers on the label and the description that it is robust.
It also survived the icy winter unscathed. Shortly after bud break, however, a fungal infestation set in that left it almost bare. Only with a great deal of care and (unfortunately) also a little chemistry did it recover somewhat. Afterwards the promised abundant flower display also formed.
The flowers, in turn, make up for a lot: when opening they are a strong orange-red, when open you can see the color gradient from red on the outside to yellow inside. A splendor of color visible from afar. Unfortunately, though, the flowers fade after a short time.Automatically translated · Show original
Enchanting play of coloursTruly like the dawn – the play of colours in the blooms is so luminous and so varied. The rose did not do well in a container, but it did in the ground, where it not only flowers more beautifully but also developed dense foliage. The blooms are firm and elegant at first, then open up more and more, become very large and get wavy, softly falling petals. Its thorns are fierce, though ..... unfortunately somewhat prone to pests.Automatically translated · Show original
Wonderfully fragrant and abundantly flowering roseAlthough this variety is very susceptible to fungus and disease, it is my absolute favourite rose. With good care it bears masses of beautiful blooms, from very early spring until the first frost. I keep the diseases well under control by giving it plenty of fertiliser and pruning it hard in spring. I also pick up every little fallen leaf, however small, and dispose of it in the organic waste bin. It did take a few years, but the rose is getting healthier and stronger. The bloom also lasts a very long time in a vase.Automatically translated · Show original
