"Marcel Proust" develops strong foliage and takes quite a lot of time to develop her very large, beautiful, pure yellow flowers. But then they last long and smell very good and fresh. With us she grows in a container, in which she gets through the winter without problems.
Diese Rose sollte bei mir jetzt im 2. Jahr blühen, verübelte mir jedoch eine Bodenverbesserung mit Rosenerde so sehr, dass sie alle Blätter verlor, braun wurde und fast einging. Nach verbalen Drohungen meinerseits hat sie es sich jetzt doch noch überlegt und treibt wieder aus. Die reingelben Blüten sind riesig und der Duft ist WIRKLICH zitronig.

Eine wunderschöne Rose.
Und ja, sie fängt erst recht spät zu blühen an.
Aber leider einer der stärkstbefallenen Rosen mit Sternrußtau.
Derzeit fast ohne Laub, bekommt sie nun wieder eine Blüte, die sicher nicht regenfest sind und dann ziemlich schnell zerfallen.
Der Duft ist herrlich.
Die Blüte selbst auch.
