Ich habe fünf Exemplare dieser Rose, die mich schon im Pflanzjahr (Frühjahr 2003) mit wunderschönen roten Blüten entzückte, aber noch nicht mal Kniehöhe erreichte. Buchstäblich erschwerend kam hinzu, dass die Blüten sehr schwer waren und nach unten nickten, also die Rosen fast wie Bodendecker wirkten. Den harten Winter im rauhen Klimas bei uns (Hochsauerland, 600 Meter Höhe, sehr lange Frost) überstanden alle gut und ohne Verluste. Der Austrieb in diesem Frühjahr sieht sehr gut aus, mal sehen, ob sich diese Rosen jetzt in die Höhe begeben. Schön wär´s, denn in der Literatur wird immer wieder ihr Duft gepriesen - um ihn wahrzunehmen, musste ich im letzten Jahr quasi auf dem Bauch im Beet liegen!
